Fallbrook is known as the Avocado capital of the world. Lush groves blanket the rolling hills creating a beautiful setting for this rural community. With numerous golf courses in and around the community and a very active Tennis Club, outdoor activities are popular year round. The Historical Downtown District is a popular stop for visitors to enjoy the many shops and restaurants.
The natural surroundings bordering Fallbrook include the Santa Margarita River to the north and the San Luis Rey River to the south. The Fallbrook Land Conservancy maintains several preserves throughout the community, and they also maintain miles of trails ideal for hiking, biking and equestrian use in and around the Santa Margarita River.
The weather is considered to be one of the most ideal climates in the world, with mild winters and pleasant summers. Fallbrook is located approximately 12 to 14 miles from the coast, which creates the cooling marine layer weather patterns and cool afternoon breezes. Residences are mostly custom homes scattered through the canyons with many homes enjoying ocean views.
